Guidelines for Cell Phones and Personal Electronic Communication Devices

Attalla City Schools will follow the guidelines of the FOCUS Act for personal electronic communication devices. Students may not use cell phones, smartwatches, tablets, or other personal devices that have the capability of exchanging voice messaging or other data during instructional time. Devices must be turned off and stored in lockers, vehicles, or designated school areas. The devices can not be on the student, including pockets or bags. We appreciate the support of our parents and guardians as we work to comply with the Alabama Law.
